Shipping Restrictions

At Vuugo, our commitment to customer satisfaction extends to providing reliable shipping services exclusively within Canada. We do not offer international shipping or cater to destinations outside of Canada. If an order is found to have a non-Canadian shipping address, it will be automatically canceled, and customers will be promptly notified to facilitate the placement of orders within our designated service area.

In addition to our Canada-only shipping policy, please note that we may refuse to ship to PO Boxes. This restriction is in place because certain products require an acknowledgment of receipt, and the use of a physical address ensures a secure and traceable delivery process. In the event that an item in your order is backordered, our customer service team will reach out to discuss alternatives available to you. It's important to note that if you decide to wait for a backordered item until it is restocked, there is no price guarantee during this period. Credit Card Payment/Pre-authorization

When you choose to pay with a credit card on Vuugo.com, you're giving us permission to charge the specified amount for your selected items. Initially, a pre-authorization may occur to verify your card's validity and fund availability. This doesn't result in an actual charge but might temporarily reduce your available credit. The final charge is processed only when the items are shipped.

Please ensure your credit card details are accurate and up-to-date. If any issues arise during pre-authorization or payment, we may contact you for additional information or alternative payment arrangements.

Keep in mind that pre-authorizations automatically expire within 30 days if you cancel your order before shipment, releasing any temporary holds on your credit card promptly. Your security is our priority; we process credit card details securely and handle discrepancies promptly when reported to our customer service.

Risk of Loss/Shipping Insurance

When finalizing your purchase on Vuugo.com, all orders will be automatically enrolled in our shipping insurance program, which is optional for customers. This insurance is designed to potentially cover the loss, damage, theft, or non-delivery of goods during transit. Customers have the discretion to opt-in for our provided shipping insurance at the time of checkout.

Should a customer choose to opt-out of the shipping insurance, it is crucial to acknowledge that Vuugo.com will not be held accountable for losses, damages, theft, or non-delivery in transit exceeding $100. In the unfortunate event of loss, damage, theft, or non-delivery during transit, Vuugo.com will assist the customer in filing a claim with the courier for reimbursement, up to a maximum of $100. Any losses or damages exceeding this amount will be the responsibility of the customer if they have opted out of Vuugo's shipping insurance policy.

In instances where customers provide their own courier account number or opt for an alternative courier company, they assume full responsibility for any losses, damages, theft, or non-delivery during shipment.

It is important to note that shipping insurance coverage ceases upon delivery and acknowledgment by the customer. Customers are responsible for inspecting their parcels upon receipt to ensure they are untampered with and free from physical damage in carton boxes. In the event of any irregularities, indicating possible tampering or damage during transit, customers should refuse to accept the parcels and promptly return them to the sender.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

All legal actions arising from using Vuugo's services or related to these Terms and Conditions  shall be exclusively governed by the laws of the province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes, controversies, or claims will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in York Region, Ontario. By using Vuugo's services, you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction and venue of these courts for the resolution of any legal matters.

Dispute Resolution

By placing an order with Vuugo.com, both you and Vuugo.com mutually agree to resolve any controversies, disputes, or claims arising from or related to your purchase of products or services through binding arbitration administered by the Canadian Arbitration Association or in a small claims court. The arbitration proceedings, including any judgment on the arbitration award, will take place in York Region, Ontario, and will be the exclusive method for resolving such matters. This agreement encompasses a broad interpretation and applies to all disputes, including but not limited to contract claims, tort claims, statutory claims, or any combination thereof.

It's essential to recognize that this Arbitration Agreement impacts your legal rights. Unlike a court proceeding, arbitration is presided over by a neutral party rather than a judge or jury, leading to a more streamlined process with limited discovery and information exchange. Arbitration awards are final and binding, subject to reversal by a court only under very restricted circumstances. Through this Agreement, both you and Vuugo.com expressly waive the right to a trial by jury and opt-out of participating in any class action.
